THE COMMAND OF THE NAVY HAS CHANGED REGULATIONS FOR ORGANIZING EXERCISES

As a result of investigation of the shipwreck of the Kursk nuclear submarine the leadership of the Russian Navy has made amendments to documents, which regulate organization of naval exercises. Admiral Vladimir Kuroyedov, Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, sent a corresponding report to the Main military prosecutor’s office. The admiral noted that “the Navy has taken adequate measures in order to improve the security of military service. Additional directives aimed at preventing accidents and disasters have been implemented.”
