Vladimir Kuroedov, Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy has ruled out the hypothetical possibility of canceling or postponing the Kursk operation. He stated, “Everything is going according to schedule”. He noted that the operation will only be suspended in storms. In the meantime, the climatic conditions in the Barents Sea are critical – the wind speed exceeds 12 meter per second.
