SUMMARY:
For years already Norway has been fighting the Western and Russian nuclear lobbies and their plans with regard to radioactive wastes. Not so long ago the Russian Duma allowed burial of radioactive wastes from the West in Siberia, and France and Japan announced their intention to barter radioactive wastes. All of that affects Norway and its security.
Catastrophe of the nuclear submarine Kursk is another headache as far as Norway is concerned.
