As Senior Deputy Prime Minister Ilya Klebanov stated today, the international foundation named after the submarine Kursk will manage to meet the deadline for raising the necessary sum of money for the purpose of recovering the sunken submarine. Mr. Klebanov stressed that the operation to lift the sub will cost no less than $70 million.
Klebanov met with representatives of the foundation to discuss the progress of the foundation’s work. According to Klebanov, the fund is working efficiently enough, which enables him to hope that necessary funds will be raised.
