Mourning ceremony commemorating the nuclear submarine Kursk its submariners took place at Vidyaevo and in St. Petersburg. Reports from Vidyaevo indicate that the families of the perished submariners live in a constant state of stress.
Unfortunately, some widows’ financial claims irk the Northern Fleet command and rank servicemen. Families of the officers assigned to Chechnya say that “losses in Chechnya amount to a Kursk every month but nobody is establishing foundations or something…”
