In the near future the state commission investigating the reasons for the wreck of the NPS Kursk will recount the reasons of the wreck, Igor Spassky, Designer General of the Central Design Bureau Rubin, where the NPS had been constructed, said. The commission is interested in “the process of the accident, rather than its commencement,” he said. Spassky also added that Russia’s Navy and enterprises of Russia’s industry will be alone engaged in operation of raising the fragments of the Kursk’s first compartment. It is planned to use some robotic techniques, he said.
