At their meeting in Halifax, finance ministers of the G-7 and Russia discussed the agenda of the G-8 summit scheduled to take place in Canada on June 26 and 27.
Russia’s Finance Minister Aleksei Kudrin informed his colleagues that capital flight from Russia had been halted. Kudrin’s counterparts were impressed and promised to assist Russia in its aspiration for membership in the World Trade Organization.
