Presidium of the Spiritual Legacy (a structure headed by Aleksei Podberezkin), one of the founders of the People’s Patriotic Union condemns Gennadi Zyuganov of collapse of the organization. Podberezkin says that Zyuganov should answer for the “collapse” of the People’s Patriotic Union.

Question: Why are you in Moscow?

Answer: I came to get to know Russian politicians. I have already met leaders of the largest Duma factions.

To tell the truth, I did what I could to provoke interest in Poland.

Question: What do you think problems in the relations between Poland and Russia are?

Answer: First and foremost, they are rooted in economic cooperation. In the wake of the financial crisis of 1988, our trade turnover got down. Poland is facilitating relations with the European Union. Unfortunately, our businessmen make a mistake ignoring the potential of the Russian market.

Question: What about the Poles’ attitude towards the Russians? Did it change when Poland became a NATO country?

Answer: No. Russia remains our neighbor and important economic partner.

Question: What are your holding’s relations with the Media-Most?

Answer: All of that is to be decided by the court. Preliminary hearing took place on October 5. The court with discuss the case on October 17.

Question: Is a compromise possible yet?

Answer: It is. We are talking it over.

Question: Will it save the Media-Most?

Answer: The holding Media-Most has two options. Either it reaches a compromise with the Gazprom-Media or it pays its debts. As for us, we would not dive it to insolvency.
