ANOTHER MARINER FROM THE NUCLEAR SUBMARINE KURSK IDENTIFIED

On March 20, investigators and experts of the Main Military Procurator’s Office identified the remains of the latest mariner, who was found last week in the compartments of the wrecked submarine Kursk. It was technician of combat section two Maksim Vishnyakov. The investigators found fragments of his body inside the second compartment of the submarine, which had been damaged in the explosion most of all. Thus, the total number of found and identified submariners amounted to 115, whereas overall, 118 submariners had been on board the submarine Kursk at the moment of catastrophe.
