The operation to cut off the first compartment of the Kursk submarine has been carried out according to the schedule. The underwater saw was stopped on September 7 in order to replace the cutting element. The operation resumed a few hours later. It is possible that the first compartment will be cut off from the submarine by September 8 if the weather does not worsen. The raising of the Kursk submarine will start on September 15.
