Premier Mikhail Kasianov signed a resolution on the nuclear submarine Kursk . The submarine is to be lifted from the seabed, towed to the shore, and put in a floating dock. The Defense Ministry is in charge of the operation. In April-July the Finance Ministry is to transact 500 million to the Defense Ministry for technical maintenance of the ships involved in the operation. It is also instructed to find 900 million for diving equipment.
