SUMMARY:

Deputy Premier Ilya Klebanov says a governmental resolution will appear soon guaranteeing money to the international consortium even if the Kursk International Foundation fails to raise the needed sum.

Russia is supposed to raise approximately one-third of the $70 million needed for the operation, and two-thirds are to be raised by the Kursk International Foundation. Experts say the government had better transact the money by March 15 or the Kursk will be left on the seabed this year.
