“What objective investigation are we talking about when the instrumental role is being played by the men who designed the Kursk?” asks a military engineer who spent years designing nuclear submarines.
Three organizations in Russia design nuclear submarines but this is a third catastrophe with submarines designed by the Rubin (K-219 in 1986, Komsomolets in 1989, and now the Kursk).
A specialist: I was surprised our Design Bureau Lazurit was not invited to the governmental commission. Somebody in high places clearly wants the rescue operation headed by Rubin and financial channels controlled by Rubin too… Our opinion is that the Kursk should be left on the seabed in a specially constructed sarcophagus.
